• IMPORTANT NOTICE for ALL BUSINESS and EMPLOYMENT VISA applications
  
  The Applicants applying for Employment visa in China should at the same time also apply at Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Foreign Division in Delhi, India. Copies of the applications should be sent to Shri. P.S.Sivaraman, Deputy Secretary (F), Ministry of Home Affairs Telefax No. 0091-11-23383888 either through their representatives in India or through the Indian company with which they have signed the Contract.
  
  Business Visas will only be issued to those Chinese Applicants who want to visit India to establish an Industry & Business venture or to explore possibilities to set-up such a venture, or who wish to purchase or Sell products in India.
  
  All applicants executing projects or contracts will have to apply for Employment Visa.
  
  Employment Visa will only be granted for skilled & qualified professionals or to applicants who are being engaged or appointed by a company/organization/industry or undertaking in India on Contract or Employment basis at a senior level, skilled position such as technical expert, senior executive or Managerial position.
  
  Employment visa will NOT be given for routine/ordinary secretarial or clerical jobs.
  
  
• As per the instructions given by the Consulate General of India, Shanghai, starting 10th December 2008, ALL foreign nationals applying for a visa to India will have to pay the additional referral fee of 100RMB.
