Important Notices

  • As per the India Visa Rules, an applicant cannot hold two valid visas at the same time. Incase the applicant already has a valid visa on the passport she/he has to cancel the old visa at the Indian Embassy before applying for a new visa.

  • All Agents are notified that as per the instructions given by the Indian Embassy the India Visa Application center will NOT accept applications with Scanned or photocopied Invitation Letters.

    Only ORIGINAL or FAX invitation letters will be accepted.

    APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED BY AGENTS WITH INCOMPLETE DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE for ALL BUSINESS and EMPLOYMENT VISA applications

    Business Visas will only be issued to those Chinese Applicants who want to visit India to establish an Industry & Business venture or to explore possibilities to set-up such a venture, or who wish to purchase or Sell products in India.

    All applicants executing projects or contracts will have to apply for Employment Visa.

    Employment Visa will only be granted for skilled & qualified professionals or to applicants who are being engaged or appointed by a company/organization/industry or undertaking in India on Contract or Employment basis at a senior level, skilled position such as technical expert, senior executive or Managerial position.

    Employment visa will NOT be given for routine/ordinary secretarial or clerical jobs.

  • All applicants going for projects and contracts in India should apply for EMPLOYMENT VISA and NOT for BUSINESS VISA.
    The Applicants applying for Employment visa in China should also apply at Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Foreign Division in Delhi, India. They can apply either through their representative in India or through their Indian Company with which they have signed the Contract with.

  • All Foreign Journalists are requested to apply online under Non-Accreditation category on or Before 25th March 2009 and route their applications through Publicity Division of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi (Website - www.mea.gov.in).   • As per the instructions given by the Indian embassy starting 10th December 2008, ALL foreign nationals applying for a visa to India will have to fill the "REFERRAL FORM" and pay the additional referral fee of 100RMB.

  • All Agents / Company's are advised that the Indian Embassy will only accept 25 Employment Visa Application, and 25 Business Visa Application from one company in 1 day.

  • TO STREAMLINE VISA PROCEDURE, THE INDIAN EMBASSY, BEIJING, WILL BE MAINTAINING A DATA BASE OF ALL THE COMPANIES/AGENTS SUBMITTING VISA APPLICATIONS ON BEHALF OF APPLICANTS. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED TO BE FURNISHED BY ALL TRAVEL AGENCIES;

    1. ALL DETAILS OF THE COMPANY HAVING OUTBOUND RIGHTS.

    2. NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO WOULD BE LIASIONING.

    3. WITH THE EMBASSY AND NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND MANAGER WHOM THE REPRESENTATIVE WORKS FOR. (THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE TELEPHONE AND MOBILE NUMBERS)

    4. CHINESE BUSINESS LICENSE IN ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPY. THE ORIGINAL WILL BE RETURNED AFTER SCRUTINY.

    5. ALL DETAILS OF THE COMPANIES WHO HAVE TAKEN FRANCHISE UNDER THEM.

    6. THE COMPANIES WHO HAVE TAKEN FRANCHISE UNDER A CHINESE TRAVEL AGENCY HAVING OUTBOUND RIGHTS SHOULD PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS/INFORMATION;

    • COPY OF THE AGREEMENT OF FRANCHISE;

    • NAME, IDENTITY CARD, TELEPHONE NUMBER OF ONE OF THE REPRESENTATIVES;

    • CONTACT DETAILS OF THEIR COUNTERPART COMPANY IN INDIA. THE INDIAN COMPANY'S DOT LICENCE AND ITO CERTIFICATE (IN DUPLICATE).

    • COPY OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CHINESE COMPANY AND INDIAN COMPANY.


  • All Agents / Company's are advised that the Indian Embassy will only accept 25 Employment Visa Application, and 25 Business Visa Application from one company in 1 day.

  • Starting 16th July 2008.All applicants and agents are advised that the India Embassy will only accept applicant photographs with a blue background. The size of the photograph should be 4cm x 3.5cm.
