Visa Information
The information is specific to people of Guangdong, Fujian,
Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan, Sichuan, and Yunnan Provinces, wishing
to make a visa application in Guangzhou. The Consulate General of
India, Guangzhou issues Tourist, Business, Student, Transit, Journalist,
Conference, Employment, and Medical visas to Chinese nationals and
to other nationals possessing foreigner resident permit.
WITH EFFECT FROM JUNE 16, 2008, ALL VISA APPLICANTS FROM GUANGDONG,
FUJIAN, GUANGXI, HAINAN, HUNAN, SICHUAN, AND YUNNAN PROVINCES SEEKING
VISAS TO VISIT INDIA [EXCEPT THOSE HOLDING DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL/PUBLIC
AFFAIRS PASSPORTS] ARE REQUESTED TO VISIT:

A SERVICE CHARGE OF RMB 165 (INCLUSIVE OF TAXES) PER PASSPORT WILL
APPLY IN ADDITION TO REGULAR VISA FEES.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM June 16, 2008 ONWARDS VISA APPLICATIONS WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE CONSULATE EXCEPT FOR THOSE HOLDING
DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL/ PUBLIC AFFAIRS PASSPORTS WHO MAY CONTINUE TO
SUBMIT THEIR VISA APPLICATIONS AT THE CONSULATE BETWEEN 0930 HRS TO
1200 HRS ON ALL WORKING DAYS.
Note:
1. Passport of all applicants should be valid for six months
2. All applications must be completed and signed by the applicants
themselves. No incomplete application will be accepted. Applications
can be submitted in person or sent through representatives.
3. Chinese nationals are required to submit a copy of their ID card
and foreign nationals are required to submit a copy of their Permanent
Residence Permit while applying for a visa. All the photos should
be similar in size and design.
