Visa Fees

The India Visa Application Centre will levy a service charge of RMB 165 per passport. An additional courier charge of 50 RMB per passport will be levied if passport has to be couriered back to the applicant.

Payment through credit cards is not accepted at the India Visa Application Centre.

German spouses of Indian nationals and their dependent children do not require visa fees to apply for any type of Indian Visa.

Note:

* Referral charges for all type of visas (to be charged from foreign nationals) at the rate of RMB 100 per applicant.

** All applicants who want to apply for Employment Visa, Conference Visa or Research Visa must pay additional fee of 100 RMB for reference.

*** The visa fee and the service fee (165 RMB) are both "non-refundable". If the applicant wants to withdraw his application the visa and service fee will NOT be refunded either by the Consulate nor the India Visa Application Center. The fee can only be refunded on the same day the application was submitted. The applicant in order to get the refund of the visa and service fee will have to withdraw the application on the same day of submission between 8 am-3 pm. There will be no refund after 3 pm on the same day of submission of the visa application.

**** The application center will ONLY provide FAPIO for the service fee it charges per application (165 RMB). The India visa application center will NOT give fapio for the visa fee the Indian Consulate charges.
