Guidelines for issue of Conference Visa
1.
Application for Conference Visas in r/o Chinese nationals should be submitted
at least 06 weeks prior to the commencement of the conference.
2.
In case the applications are submitted less than 06 weeks prior to the
commencement of the conference, applicant should submit a letter (original /
fax copy only) addressed to the Consulate from the organizer stating that the
personal particulars of the participant has been submitted by the organizer to
MHA in the prescribed format 06 weeks prior to the commencement of the
conference.
3.
In addition, all requirements in
Checklist for Conference Visa Applications should be provided.
4.
Participants from other countries should also provide ALL documents listed in Checklist
for Conference Visa Applications.
5.
PARTICIPANTS FOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES IN
INDIA
MAY NOTE THAT THEY SHOULD APPLY ONLY FOR CONFERENCE VISAS AND NOT FOR ANY OTHER
CATEGORY OF VISA.
