All applicants residing and working in the provinces of Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu are requested to submit their applications at the India Visa Application Centre in Shanghai. The applicants who are not from the above mentioned provinces are requested to submit their applications at the India Visa Application Centre in Beijing |

Will the visa fees be refunded? |

No. (The visa fee and the service fee (165 RMB) are both "non-refundable". If the applicant wants to withdraw his application the visa and service fee will NOT be refunded either by the Embassy nor the India Visa Application Center. The fee can only be refunded on the same day the application was submitted. The applicant in order to get the refund of the visa and service fee will have to withdraw the application on the same day of submission between 8 am-3 pm. There will be no refund after 3 pm on the same day of submission of the visa application.) |
